Last week I came upon a See's Holiday Outlet store...they had deals like $5 off a $15 one-pound box of chocolates.
But you had to be part of a select group, such as government or corporate employee, credit union or retired to qualify. At least I got a free sample...
As for restaurant.com, please make sure the restaurant you intend to redeem the certificate is still in business BEFORE hitting the "purchase now" on the screen. Many retsuarnts in the last two months have recently closed, and the restaurant.com web site may have not been updated.
As Julia pointed out, many of the certificates have become highly restrictive, time of day, day of week, minimum dollar amount, beverage purchase and so on.
It's to the point at some participating restaurants they are asking you to stand on your head and do the dishes...lol
