Get $20 back at Simi Valley Town Center
Buy a $100 Simi Valley Town Center mall gift card this Thursday, Dec. 11, and you will get an additional $20 gift card. The card can be used at any stores within the mall, including Macy's.
You must purchase the card on Thursday but you can spend it anytime after that. The card costs $1 to buy and if you do not spend all the money by the 13th month, the mall deducts $2 per month as a maintenance fee.
To get the deal go to guest services, which is located in the center court of the mall near Ann Taylor Loft, Abercrombie & Fitch and the elevator. The counter is open from 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday.

Too bad that unlike store issued gift cards which by law have no monthly maintenance fees, because this is a multi-store gift card issued by a bank holding company, in this case, Bank of America, a monthly maintenance fee is assessed.
If you're going to use the cards within twelve months, then you will not be impacted by the fee. If you or your gift recipient let the gift cards sit in the drawer, then after a year, the value drops every month.
Personally, I do not like gift cards that carry any fees, but if I am already going to purchase the item right away, then this is $20.00 in free money!
