Gift suggestions for everyone!
A Web site called Gift Arrow has a short quiz you can take to find gift suggestions for everyone on your list. It is free and you do not have to register. The catch is they sell all the gifts they suggest. Compare prices before you buy.
I am taking the quiz for my step-father, who is hands-down the hardest person on my list to buy gifts for. If Gift Arrow can suggest something for him, I'm sold.
Here goes. After six questions I got nine gift suggestions, all of which were either tools or leather wallets. Not bad, but not original.
After another quick round of questions - including whether or not the recipient has tattoos - I got nine more suggestions. All of which were either tools or leather wallets.
Either the site is honing in on the perfect gift for my step-father or has no other suggestions. I'll give it another round.
Nine suggestions. All tools and wallets.
I'm getting the feeling that no matter how I answer their questions I will get the same results. I expected something more because the questions are detailed. What is the recipient's diet? What are his political and religious beliefs? What is his yearly income?
Another round of questions. More tools and wallets!!! *$%^@! The final round. More. Tools. And. Wallets. I doubt my step-father wants a fancy alligator-print wallet. How about tools, Paul?
Thanks for the tip, Jerry!
