Used book sale with titles $.50 to $5

A community book sale in Granada Hills this Sunday, Jan. 18, offers some 1,400 used books. Paperbacks are $.50, hardcovers are $1 and a limited number of coffee table/art books are up to $5. The sale is from 12-3 pm.

St. Andrew and St. Charles Episcopal Church is holding the sale. The books are collected and donated by parishioners and proceeds benefit the church.

Books are roughly sorted by type, including fiction, non-fiction, biography, autobiography, history, children's, mystery, classics, poetry, self-help, cooking, and more. There will be free coffee and cookies, a church volunteer tells me.
