I just received this breathless email from Travelzoo about a Virgin America fare sale that has flights out of Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas for $59-$139 each way.

"What makes this really stand out is that you can travel any day of the week, and there is only a 1-day advance purchase required," the email said. "We rarely see air sales as wide open as this!"

Travelzoo says if you wear an article of red clothing on board the airline will treat you to 1 free alcoholic beverage, but I have not confirmed this. Has this worked for anybody?
