Lost your job? Still gotta pay Uncle Sam.
Even if you made significantly less in 2008 because you were laid off or became unemployed, remember to pay your taxes says a story in today's LA Daily News.
Depending on when you lost your job and how big your severance package was (if any), Uncle Sam may owe you.
"If your annual income declined because you lost a job or had other changes, your tax bill is likely to be lower, and you could be due a larger refund," the story says. Read the whole thing here.
The IRS just announced an improved e-file program that gets refunds to you in as quick as 10 days. Alright!
