California Beer Festival returns to San Dimas September 7

Beer lovers…mark your calendars for Saturday, September 7!

That’s the day the California Beer Festival returns to beautiful Bonelli Park in San Dimas.

Tickets are available now for the event, which will run from 12:30 to 5 p.m.

An anticipated 25 breweries will be pouring about 70 brews this year.

Participating Southern California breweries include Los Angeles’ Angel City Brewery, Upland’s Dale Bros. Brewery, Redlands’ Hangar 24 Craft Brewery, Moreno Valley’s Kat Daddy Brewery, Orange County’s J.T. Schmid’s, Ventura’s Surf Brewery, Santee’s Manzanita Brewing, San Diego’s Karl Strauss Brewing Company and (last, and most definitely not least) Escondido’s Stone Brewing Co.

There will also be food, provided by Extreme Pita, Our Place BBQ & Soul Food, the Currywurst Truck, Taco Factory and Ghandi India’s Cuisine.

Three bands (Lil A and the Allnighters, the Bomb and the Pac Men) will perform.

Presale tickets for the event are $45 (plus $4 service fee) for general admission, $25 (plus $3 service fee) for designated drivers and $70 (plus $5.25 service fee) for V.I.P. admission.

V.I.P. tickets grant early (11:30 a.m.) admission to the event with an opportunity to meet with brewers and brewery representatives and sample reserve and specialty brews. V.I.P. ticket holders will also get access to a street taco bar and bottled water and will receive a California Beer Festival souvenir pint glass. A limited number (300) of V.I.P. tickets will be sold.

General admission tickets, if available, will be $55 at the door.

As in the last couple of years, the event is a fundraiser for the for the Gen Giammanco Foundation, which provides financial support to student athletes.

Shuttle rides from downtown Claremont and Pomona will be available for an additional fee. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
