Beachwood, Hangar 24 take gold at Great American Beer Festival

Congratulations go out to Long Beach’s Beachwood BBQ & Brewing and Redlands’ Hangar 24 Craft Brewery for winning gold medals at last week’s Great American Beer Festival in Denver.

Beachwood returned with two gold medals: One for Kilgore in the American-Style Stout category and one for Foam Top in the Golden or Blonde Ale category.

In addition, the brewery won for best Mid-Size Brewpub of the Year and took home a silver medal for Udder Love in the Sweet Stout or Cream Stout category and bronze medals for System of a Stout in the Coffee Beer category and Barrel-Aged Full Malted Jacket in the Wood- and Barrel-Aged Strong Beer category.

Hangar 24 took home the gold for Warmer in the Specialty Beer category.
