Brouwerij West Lands New Home in San Pedro

Three-year-old craft brewery Brouwerij West has bounced between rented offices and production facilities in the likes of Palos Verdes Estates, El Segundo and Long Beach.

Now the brewery that specializes in Belgian ales — but has not had an on-site tasting room — has found a home at the Port of Los Angeles in a building right next to Crafted that will apparently include a restaurant much like Atwater Village’s Golden Road Brewing.

That will make it San Pedro’s first craft brewery, although before anyone contacts us, yes, we are aware of the underrated San Pedro Brewing Co., although strictly speaking that is a brewpub rather than craft brewery.

Look for the new Brouwerij West space to open next summer.
