Breweries pitching in this holiday season

Local breweries are pitching in to help the less fortunate this holiday season.

We’ve spotted a few around Southern California that are collecting food and toys, and offering incentives to help sweeten the pot.

Chino’s I & I Brewing, for instance, has set up a Spark of Love toy collection box in its tasting room. Those who donate an unwrapped toy worth at least $10 will get $1 off pints for the night.

Their campaign runs through next Saturday (December 21), so get to the toy store and stock up!

I & I Brewing is at 14175 Telephone Ave., Suite J.

To the north, Upland’s Dale Bros. Brewery is collecting canned goods for Helping Hands Pantry.

Through the end of December, those who donate will receive a dollar off their first pint.

Dale Bros. Brewery is at 2120 Porterfield Way.

If it’s exclusive beers you want, then head to Placentia’s The Bruery, 717 Dunn Way.

The brewery is collecting toys for Families Forward.

Those who donate unwrapped toys will have access to two- to seven-ounce pours of limited-edition beers, including some of the Bruery’s famed barrel-aged brews.

Every day a different beer is offered, and is posted on the brewery’s social media sites.

This year’s offerings so far have included Filmishmish, Melange #3 and White Chocolate.

Toys will be collected through December 23. For more information, click here.
