It’s scheduled to take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, February 15, at the nightclub, 3220 W. Temple Ave.
It’s being billed as “half beer festival and half music experience,” as guests will be able to sample unlimited pours while listening to music from DJs.
Full ticket price is supposed to be $55, but we couldn’t find anywhere online to purchase tickets at that price, thankfully.
There’s a Groupon deal listing one ticket for $30 and two for $55.
However, tickets are available for just $20 (plus $1.69 service fee) from the event’s Brown Paper Tickets page.
That’s a great deal, considering cover charge is normally that much, and your ticket grants you to access to the club after the event.
So, in my book, that equals free beer.
Organizers are advertising participation by 15 breweries, including Angel City Brewery, Brew Rebellion, The Bruery, Claremont Craft Ales, Craft Brewing Company, Dale Bros. Brewery, Hangar 24 Craft Brewing, Lagunitas Brewing Company, New Belgium Brewing Company, Redhook Ale Brewery, Ritual Brewing Co., Samuel Adams and Widmer Brothers Brewing.
We’ve been to events like this — that seem a bit…how do I put this nicely…sketchy — and had a great time.
How many times have you spent $20 just sitting in one of the above breweries’ tasting rooms?
