San Bernardino gets a brewery

Last summer, we learned that Yucaipa’s Brew Rebellion had leased a spot at the former Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino and would use it as a second production facility and tasting room.

At the time, brewery co-founder Ed Parker noted that he had hoped to open the tasting room in about a year.

Well, he wasn’t that far off.

The tasting room is set to open today (September 25).

Brew Rebellion’s San Bernardino location is at 195 N. Leland Norton Way, across the parking lot from the Norton Air Force Base Museum, in the spot that was once the Hangar Inn Cafe.

The brewery’s original location at 13444 California St. in Yucaipa will remain open, with both locations open 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and Monday, noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
