If you’re heading to the Redlands Optimist Oktoberfest this afternoon (October 3), you’ll want to visit the event’s website first.

That’s where you’ll find a two-for-one coupon for admission to the event.

This year’s event runs until 5 p.m. at Sylvan Park at University Street and Colton Avenue in Redlands. Admission is $5.

In addition to traditional Oktoberfest beer from Munich-based brewer Spaten, a trio of Redlands breweries — Escape Craft Brewery, Hangar 24 Craft Brewery and Ritual Brewing Co. — are scheduled to pour.

Proceeds from the family-friendly event will benefit the service club’s youth-related programs.

Rancho Cucamonga’s No Clue Craft Brewery will be celebrating its first anniversary tomorrow (October 3).

The brewery is dubbing the event its ALToberfest party.

No Clue is releasing an ALToberfest Anniversary Ale and several other special release beers for the occasion, including the following:

• Mexican Mocha Stout: Milk Stout with Stell coffee, cacao nibs, and cinnamon. (8.5% ABV)
• Third St. Belgian Tripel (9% ABV)
• Vanilla Imperial Oatmeal Stout (10.3% ABV)
