Last Name Brewing celebrating ‘Brews & Bros’ on Saturday

When it’s your birthday, you want to celebrate it with your best friends, right?

On Saturday (January 21), Last Name Brewing — formerly Dale Bros. Brewery — will be doing that very thing at Cable Airport in Upland.

The Upland brewery will be joined by 37 breweries from across Southern California and beyond as it celebrates its 14th anniversary, and its first under the new moniker.

Local breweries participating in the Brews & Bros Craft Beer Festival include Alosta Brewing Co., Angel City Brewery, Bootlegger’s Brewery, Brew Rebellion, Claremont Craft Ales, Escape Craft Brewery, Golden Road Brewing, Hamilton Family Brewery, I & I Brewing, Ironfire Brewing Company, Kings Brewing Co., La Verne Brewing Co., Left Coast Brewing Co., No Clue Craft Brewery, Off the Grid Brewing Company, Oggi’s Brewhouse, Old Stump Brewing Co., Packinghouse Brewing Company, Ritual Brewing Co., Rök House Brewing Company, Sanctum Brewing Co., Skyland Ale Works, Stone Church Brewing, Strum Brewing Co. and Wicks Brewing Co.

If beer isn’t really your thing, a handful of wineries and cideries are also scheduled to participate.

Food will be available from a variety of vendors, including the Big Easy Sandwich, Juju’s Famous Ceviche, MESquite BBQ, Scoops on Tap, Wood Stone Pizza and the Bacon Nation, Cousins Maine Lobster, Slammin’ Sliders and Waffle-Oh! food trucks.

General admission tickets are $50 (plus a $2.74 service fee if purchased online) and include a keepsake glass, unlimited pours and admission from 1-5 p.m. VIP tickets are $65 (plus a $3.27 service fee if purchased online) and include the above, plus a rare beer tasting session from noon-1 p.m. with select breweries. Designated driver/underage attendee tickets are available for $10 (plus a $1.34 service fee if purchased online), and kids (under 12) are admitted for free.

Tickets (if available) will be more expensive at the door — online sales end at 10 p.m. Friday (January 20), and the event will take place rain or shine.

Proceeds will benefit the Claremont Educational Foundation.
