Packinghouse Brewing Co. will celebrate its seventh anniversary from noon to 11 p.m. today (October 21).

This year, the Riverside brewery will have a couple of extra things to celebrate: It recently won a pair of awards at this year’s Great American Beer Festival in Denver.

The brewery’s Nighthawk Rye Pale Ale won a silver medal in the rye beer category, while its Riley’s Irish Red won a bronze in the Irish-style red ale category.

In addition to delicious beer, including special beer releases throughout the day, the event will feature music from Los Babosos and The Rare Barrels, and barbecue will be available from the Riverside Police Officers’ Association.
