Does macaroni and cheese pair well with beer?

Attendees of the Mac and Cheese Beerfest will be able to answer that question on Saturday (December 16) in Riverside.

While tickets include unlimited samplings of a promised 50 beers, wines and spirits, 10 restaurants will be offering their signature macaroni and cheese dishes for prices ranging from $4-$6.

Musical entertainment includes Sega Genecide, DJ Eddey and Bass Punks.

Tickets to the event, which is set for 7 to 10 p.m. at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium, 3485 Mission Inn Ave., are $35 (plus a $2.74 service fee if purchased online). V.I.P. tickets, which grant admission at 6 p.m., are $50 (plus $3.49 service fee if purchased online).

However, you might be able to score some half-price V.I.P. tickets if you know where to look.
