Sour Cellars celebrating first anniversary today

Rancho Cucamonga’s Sour Cellars is celebrating its first anniversary today (December 30).

The brewery, which deals exclusively in barrel-aged sour beers, will be releasing a new beer, No Return Ticket, described as a blend of “1 year spontaneously fermented beer and 2 year mixed culture beer re-fermented with fresh Marionberries and spent Kotata blackberries.”

In addition to No Return Ticket — which will be available on tap and in bottles — the brewery will be releasing a few other brews early from the cellar and some others from the vault.

In addition, the brewery is offering memberships in its Curios Club.

For $275 plus tax and CRV, members will get 12 750mL bottles (in a minimum of six flavors, all exclusive to the club), a shirt, glass, bottle tote bag and 10% off tasting room purchases.

For the exclusive flavors, the brewery is planning to use fruits that are significantly more expensive or labor intensive than what has been used previously.

Payment must be made in person or via the brewery’s website before the end of the year.

Hours today are noon to 10 p.m. and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday (December 31).
