Southern California brewers supporting Camp fire relief with Resilience Butte County Proud IPA

Many of you have asked if we will be brewing a fundraiser beer to support #CampFire relief efforts. The answer is a resounding “yes.” We are proud to announce that we’ll be brewing Resilience Butte County Proud IPA and donating 100% of sales to Camp Fire relief. In addition, we are also asking every brewery in America to brew Resilience and do the same. I’m sending a letter to brewers across the country, inviting them to join us in a collaboration brew day on Tuesday, November 27. We are working with malt and hop suppliers to provide raw ingredient donations to all participating breweries and are asking those breweries to donate 100 percent of their sales, as well. We know that the rebuilding process will take time, but we’re in this for the long haul. Our hope is to get Resilience IPA in taprooms all over the country to create a solid start for our community’s future. Thank you to each and every one of you for your support. We’re right here with you and we’ll get through this together. ❤️Ken #ResilienceIPA #ButteCountyProud #ButteStrong – Ken

The Chico-based brewery — along with many other breweries — brewed the beer on Giving Tuesday (November 27) and will be donating 100% of sales of the finished product to the Camp Fire Relief Fund.

They’ve also asked every brewer in America to do the same.

Hangar 24’s AirFest takes flight this weekend

Coming this weekend! The first of two beers we created to commemorate our tenth year of shared adventures. Our 10th Anniversary Sorbet Gose is brewed with blood oranges and raspberries, finished with the addition of lactose, to produce a refreshing, popsicle-like, tart wheat ale. This liquid dessert will be available on draft starting Friday, May 18th at our Redlands and Lake Havasu locations, and throughout the weekend at AirFest. Swipe left for a sneak peek at the label art generously provided by local photographer @redlandssky. 4 pack 16oz cans will be available in the coming weeks. ::: The sky does some wonderful things here in Redlands. During a decade of adventures, we’ve seen many sunsets transform into breathtaking, dessert-like vistas. That’s what inspired our 10th Anniversary Sorbet Gose. A beer that’s rich and creamy, with a finish like a tart sorbet. And best enjoyed when you’re taking time to admire the beauty around you on your next adventure.

It’s part beer fest, part air show, part concert and all party.

I’m describing, of course, Hangar 24 Craft Brewing’s AirFest and 10th anniversary, which takes place this weekend at Redlands Municipal Airport, 1755 Sessums Drive.

The festivities are set for noon to 10 p.m. Saturday (May 19), and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday (May 20).
