Go east, young brewery.
Alosta Brewing Co. is opening its second taproom today (August 11) in downtown La Verne, just a few miles east of its flagship Covina location, which opened in 2013.

Our grandfather, born in 1899, lived to be 100 years old. He ran a self-sufficient farm, raising everything he needed to survive. A blacksmith shop, cold house, smoke house, chicken coupe, and leathery made sure he could support its operation. He enjoyed simple things. An evening on the porch, a tin of cold, fresh water from the well. And, his favorite snack, Moon Pies. I bet he would have loved one of our Chocolate Coffee Stouts to wash it down: https://untappd.com/b/storytellers-brewery-and-meet…/2755091 #tellusyourstories #craftbeer #moonpie #chocolatecoffeestout
We’ve known for a while that the spot that was Skyland Ale Works’ original home — 109 N. Maple St., Unit C, Corona — was going to be a new brewery, but were unsure on when it was going to open.
Searching for something else in Google Maps, we discovered that the new brewery — Storytellers Brewery and Meet House — had opened late last month.

Well, compared to a thousand, 25 is a few.

We’ve been anticipating the opening of Rancho Cucamonga’s Solorio Brewing Company for well over a year now, following their progress via their Instagram account.
Proposed opening dates came and went. Until recently, their Instagram bio still indicated they were planning to open in January 2017.

Offering a truly unique experience for Inland Empire (and likely Southern California) beer drinkers, Sour Cellars officially opens December 30 in Rancho Cucamonga.
You see, every beer produced by the brewery is a barrel-aged sour, plus the brewery specializes in newly isolated wild yeast strains.
Beer geeks, rejoice!

Beer is typically found on college campuses, but apparently never like this.
Cal Poly Pomona has opened what it says is the first-ever brewery-restaurant at a college campus.
Innovation Brew Works will celebrate its grand opening from 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow (February 20).
Innovation’s café has been open since September, but its brewery has only been brewing since December.
The brewery’s current tap list consists of five house brews — an orange wheat, a porter and red, blond and brown ales — and seven brews from local breweries, including Dale Bros. Brewery, Alosta Brewing Co., Claremont Craft Ales and Ritual Brewing Co.
