Here's my nomination: Pizza Place California in San Gabriel. It's the place I take just about every serious date for dinner. The food and atmosphere can't be beat.
I love Shinsengumi because they're open late during the week, so I can go there after our long city council meetings. But your readers need to know they specialize in Hakata ramen. Don't go expecting to be able to order teriyaki or something.
