Burned out Toyota owners can pay later
BURNED CAR? Know anyone who is paying off a Toyota and lost a home to the wildfires? At least the car payment won't be due right away. Torrance-based Toyota Financial Services is offering several payment relief options for drivers of leased or owned Toyotas who are dealing with the wildfire disaster in Southern California. Affected drivers in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties may explore the following options and get more information (see below). 1) extensions and lease deferred payments
2) redirecting billing statements
3) arranging phone or on-line payments

Also, residents in those areas who lost cars and need new ones can take advantage of a 180 Day Deferred First Payment Program. This program is available through participating Toyota and Lexus dealers and TFS.
Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc. of Torrance and Toyota Financial Services also have contributed $2 million to the disaster relief efforts of the American Red Cross. Toyota Material Handling USA is donating Toyota lift trucks and pallet jacks to unload and distribute relief supplies.
