Gas prices keep going up

The Automobile Club of Southern California says this morning that the average price of
a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline rose in L-A County for the 11th straight week
this week ... but at a lower rate than the week before. It now stands at 3 dollars and
38 cents. That’s 8-point-2 cents more than last week ... 36 cents more than last month
... 92 cents more than at this time last year ... and only within 11 cents of the
record high of 3 dollars and 49 cents ... which was set back on May 9th. The triple-A
notes that November price increases are unusual and notes that high gasoline prices
around the holidays could put a dent in shopping and travel budgets.
