New Northrop Execs in El Segundo

Northrop Grumman Corp.'s El Segundo-based Integrated Systems sector announced the appointments of three executives, two of them in El Segundo.

Gerard A. "Duke" Dufresne was named sector vice president for the western region. Charles Wands was
named sector vice president and chief financial officer. Both men will be based in El Segundo.

Thomas E. Vice was appointed sector vice president for the eastern region.
The appointments are effective Jan. 1.

Dufresne will succeed Gary W. Ervin, who in September was elected corporate vice president and president of Integrated Systems, a position he will assume in January. Dufresne currently serves as sector vice president of the eastern region, a position he has held since 2006.

Wands will succeed Lance G. Newquist, who is retiring in January. Wands' current position is vice president and CFO of Integrated Systems' western region.

Vice, who will succeed Dufresne in the eastern region position, currently serves as vice president of Airborne Early Warning and Battle Management Command and Control-Navy Programs.
