Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market, the El Segundo-based grocery store chain, announced the voluntary recall of its self-branded Chili & Lemon Flavored Pistachios due to a potential Salmonella contamination.

The company removed the item from sale on March 30 pending the outcome of the FDA and California Department of Public Health investigation.

"This is the only fresh&easy™ product that contains pistachios from Setton Farms," the company said in a statement. "No other fresh&easy™ branded products are included in this recall."
