Three South Bay Starbucks are closing, part of the company's effort to shut hundreds of under-performing locations nationwide.

That's in addition to the recent closure of Fox Hollow Coffee, the coffee house on Hawthorne Boulevard between Kmart and 190th Street.

The local Starbucks closings are:

- 2263 E. Maple Ave. in El Segundo

- 2104 Pacific Coast Highway in Lomita

- 285 W. 6th St. in San Pedro
