SpaceX Sends Equipment for Space Station

Space Exploration Technologies, the Hawthorne-based developer of low-cost rockets, said it delivered a communication device to NASA's Kennedy Space Center in preparation for launch on Space Shuttle Atlantis.

The company known as SpaceX developed the device, to be sent to the International Space Station, in order to allow for communication between the space station crew, SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft and ground-based mission control.
