WikiLeaks: More on Raytheon Ban

Following up on my story on Raytheon forbidding its employees from accessing WikiLeaks at work or even on their own personal computer equipment.
A source at a local aerospace/military contractor told me today that his company issued a similar directive "months ago."

"We were notified months ago when it (WikiLeaks disclosures) first came out and we got a reminder notice last week," the source said.

He added, "To us in the industry, it makes Raytheon look a little naive and late to the party."

Not El-Hasan's fault. The Raytheon spokesman who "declined to comment" in the original story could have easily explained that the notice was simply a reminder to employees. It would then have been a non-issue. Sounds like Raytheon is a little late to the party... at least in terms of hiring competent communications staff.

Good work by wilkileaks....
