Carl Froch gets his payback against Mikkel Kessler in title fight in London

Not surprisingly, Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler put on a crowd-pleasing performance Saturday night in their super middleweight title-unification fight at O2 Arena in London.

Froch won a unanimous decision in a fight that had several thrilling moments. When the final bell rang, the 18,000-plus went wild.

Froch won by scores of 115-113, 116-112 and 118-110; that third score seemed a bit out of whack.

Froch, 35, of England, is 31-2 with 22 knockouts. Kessler, 34, of Denmark, is 46-3. Kessler won their first fight via unanimous decision in April 2010 in Denmark.
