State of disgrace

What happens in Arizona should stay in Arizona for all the rest of the nation should care.
In fact, a nationwide boycott of the state should be in order.
In honor of the state’s baseball team, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the state deserves to be snake-bit.
The president of Mexico warned the people of his country not to visit Arizona for fear of being victims of racial profiling.

Think of that —– another country is warned not to visit America. You know, the land of the free.

Congratulations, Arizona.

Here’s an idea for your state’s new slogan: “Arizona: If you’re brown, that better be a tan.”

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, who signed the bill into law last week, will be on Fox Noose tonight. Appropriate. That’s where cowards go to gloat. On Tuesday, a reporter asked Brewer what an illegal immigrant looks like. By Wednesday, she still didn’t have an answer —- probably didn’t get the Fox Noose talking points on that one. They probablyknow a few police sketch artists.

The racial war instigators at Fox are lapping this stuff up like David Hasselhoff in that video shot by his kids —- you know, the one where he was drunk and eating a hamburger off the floor.

Fox continues to incite, not report. And it comes as no surprise that Arizona — that Wild, Wild West — is falling in line with Fascist News, the “Hope America Fails” Network, headquarters for American Apartheid.

Arizona’s goal seems to be let’s have a showdown with Texas to see which state could make the other look like Massachusetts by comparison.

Then you’ve got the Republican tail sniffing dawgs who can’t legislate so they let Fox delegate their sound bites. They complain that Arizona had to pass that law because the federal government isn’t doing anything about illegal immigration. Wake up and smell the Tequila, hombres, you are the federal government and you keep saying no way, Jose, whenever lawmakers want to take up passing an immigration bill.
And where’s the tea-baggers who were ranting and raving and acting like a bunch of cry-babies because the big, bad federalgovernment was taking over our freedoms.
Need an excuse? How about, we didn’t say anything about state government.
The real reason, of course, is pigmentation again. No one in Arizona is going to profile someone who looks like he might be from Sweden and here illegally.
Let’s hope Arizona hasn’t started a dangerous trend here —- profiling brown people because they might be in their state illegally. Or we could have profiling of other kinds, like:
1. No families who aren’t products of in-breeding allowed in Mississippi.
2. No one with more than a third-grade education (show us your diplomas) allowed in Alabama.
3. Anyone who is male and likes show tunes better not come to Nebraska.
4. People with Obama/Biden bumper stickers still on their cars will be pulled over and arrested for one thing or another in South Carolina.
5. You’re not a devout Christian — or, maybe worse, your a devout Catholic —– keep your sorry butt out of the Confederate State of Virginia.
Good mornin’, America, how are ya…..

Why is the country getting so vocal about taking care of ILLEGAL residents that are a burden on our tax structure. This is the land of the free, not the land for free. If the people are here legally then that is o.k. It just so happens that the majority of illegals in AZ are Hispanic, in Minnesota they are Canadians, go after them too. It is not a matter of race but a matter of ILLEGAL. Everyone is probably in favor of this law but afraid to admit it. All of these politicians are just hot air blowers.

We are not defending illegals. These are people. They are here illegally, but please call them undocumented. Weren’t our founding fathers here illegally too? Didn’t we take this land from someone else? Don’t you remember the Trail of Tears, the Japanese Concentration Camps, the lost of Indian Reservations, the bombs dropped in Vietnam and Cambodia on civilians for NO REASON, the African slaves being brought to the land of the free against their will? All of these consist of wrong doings on our part towards another race and it all has very deadly consequences. If you learn about the history of our country, we are the products of illegals. The matter is not the fact that we are defending the undocumented immigrants, but the fact that it will be a law now to be able to ask for an identification and if he/she does not have one, he/she will be deported home. What will happen to the undocumented students who have been educated at our US schools their whole lives, the students at UCLA, at universities and colleges completing their BA, MA, or PhD, but are still considered “illegal”? We don’t remember what happens to the little girl that was brought here illegally by her parents do we?

Please join UCLA w/ its Press Conference & Rally against the SB1070 Bill passed in AZ & our May Day March @ 10AM on Olympic & Broadway for the Federal DREAM Act. Let’s march for higher education!
