All things mosque pass

Some time ago Fox Fabricated News must have decided that it was just plain boring reporting the news.

So they started making it. Well, making it up anyway.

And the so-called respectable media that tries to distance itself from Fox continues to fall for their crud everytime —- for fear of not reporting what has gotten everyone riled up. Which in turns gives credence to the Limbaugh-Palin theory that any other newscast but Fox should be referred to as the lamestream media.

The latest manufactured nonsense seeping from the defective gene reporting pool over at Fox is of course the dreaded mosque being built at ground zero.

Naturally there are true facts missing. For one it’s not a mosque, it’s an Islamic center for recreation as well as for prayer. Secondly, the proposed site of the building is not at ground zero where the World Trade Center used to be —- as the purveyors of propaganda would have you believe. It’s a few blocks away —- in fact dwarfed by other structures.

It’s called Park 51. But the propagandists are making it sound more like Area 51 —– the top secret CIA military base in Nevada that’s frequently the subject of conspiracy theories and UFO folklore. You know, “aliens.”

Now it appears that Fox —- while not completely giving up on fabricating news stories —- is branching out. The objective: Electing Republican candidates this November not only in the House and Senate, but governors as well.

The ultimate goal: Electing the next president in 2012.

Fox already has a Going Rogues Gallery of Republican former office holders like Mama Grizzly Palin and Newt Gingrich — as well as GOP operatives like ‘Turdblossom’ Karl Rove and Dana “Bubble-headed bleached blonde” Perino.

It was reported that Fox Fabricated News’ maniacal mogul Rupert Murdoch has contributed $1 million to the Republican Governors Association. That should come as no surprise. And one might think that $1 million is chicken feed as far as spendin’ money on gittin’ elected. Rest assured. Fox will continue to boost the GOP candidates’ agendas free of charge on TV on a nightly basis.

Xenophobe alert: Rupert was not born in America. In fact, Rupert is the perfect poster boy for xenophobia. A foreigner making gobs of money in America! Xenophobes unite!

This latest disgrace to every race that Fox has unleashed about what they call the ground zero mosque is still in the clotted blood stream in most media outlets.

And what’s this with big government getting involved in this non-controversy? Republicans, who should hence be called Reaganoids, aren’t following the Gipper’s ‘government isn’t the solution government is the problem’ drool.

Oh, that’s right, the GOP gives big government a pass whenever they regurgitate another cultural war issue.

One wonders where Fox and the right wing-nuts were on this Muslim issue when Bush and Cheney were president.

The U.S. invaded Iraq because Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, but as it turned out, W. and Deadeye Dick used that excuse as a weapon of mass destraction. Be that as it may, our troops were sent over there to defend the people against the madman Saddam. And the people we were defending, and the people our troops died and were wounded for, are —- right, Muslims.

Turns out we were defending them over there so we wouldn’t have to have them come over here and be accused of being terrorists and have their religious freedom stripped from them.

One person could put a quick stop to this mosque nonsense. Former President George W. Bush needs to come out and tell the propagandists (who also were in full force during his administration) to settle the you-know-what down.

But that won’t happen. Ol’ W. already said he doesn’t want to comment on it (the Texas Rangers are in first place, don’t be botherin’ the Yale Cowboy.)

W. is persona non grata with the Republican Party —- so he should do something that would make America proud of him.

Ya, and Rush Limbaugh will kick the prescription drug habit.

Anyway, stay tuned for the next major fabricated news story that Fox will create. Just imagine what kinds of minds are at work thinking up this character assassination.

You can’t guess what Fox will fabricate next —- but you can bet it will involve a minority group. And real news networks will tag along like chickens to the mother hen.

So here’s a song dedicated to Fox and their twisted little minds for their latest mass hysteria creation —– the mosque that’s really a community center next to ground zero where it really isn’t:

“Old Coot Newt”

(sung to the tune “Big Yellow Taxi”
by Joni Mitchell)

“Save paradise, no mosque at ground zero.

It’s an insult to thousands of fallen heroes.

Don’t build on our hallowed ground

America made it clear, don’t come around.

Save paradise, no mosque at ground zero.

“Right wing-nuts fabricated facts and the media bought it.

Hysteria ensued and liberals turned tail after they caught it.

Don’t build on our hallowed ground

America made it clear, don’t come around.

Save paradise, no mosque at ground zero.

“Hey, Mr. Politician the First Amendment needs some fixin.’

Listen to the party of Reagan —- and, OK, not so much W. and Nixon.

Don’t build on our sacred ground

America made it clear, don’t come around.

Save paradise, no mosque at ground zero.

“Propagandists have the nation’s ear, you can’t beat ’em.

Old Coot Newt will take away your religious freedom.

Don’t build on our sacred ground

America made it clear, don’t come around.

Save paradise, no mosque at ground zero.”
