At face value

It was a snapshot of what all of America will look like soon.

Traffic court earlier this week provided a rare glimpse of the faces of humanity in one setting.

There were more blacks, Latinos and Asians contesting their traffic citations than there were whites. This doesn’t mean that minorities are singled out more than whites when it comes to traffic violations. Just bad luck of the draw. Still, an African American friend of mine says she’s convinced there is a gentlemen’s agreement among some police that there is such a thing as DWB —- driving while black.

The male police on duty to present evidence included two whites, an African-American and a Latino. The presiding judge was Latino.

The face of America not indigenous to California.

Rush Limbaugh’s worst nightmare.

And there’s nothing that he, along with Fox Fabricated News, Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich and the great white dope, Glenn Beck, can do about it.

It’s not that they aren’t trying. And succeeding. In the short run.

Turning up the white heat

The Republican Party has the issues they need to beat Democrats in November —- unemployment and a brutal economy. Hey, GOP, it’s the brutal economy, stupid! Yet, Republicans continue to pander to the extremist bloodsucking vampires who feed on demonizing people who don’t look like them or agree with their vile contempt for diversity. (Why aren’t people who thrive on demonizing people called satanists?)

President Obama is a Muslim.

Obama is to Islam what:

Glenn Beck is to sanity.

Sarah Palin is to logic.

George W. Bush is to intellect.

Dick Cheney is to humanity.

Newt Gingrich is to fidelity.

Rush Limbaugh is to drug-free.

So, Republican Party, why is your malevolence targeted at Mexicans and Muslims?

It’s an unnecessary diversion. Except, history has shown us time and again that the GOP always needs a boogey man to keep Americans on the straight and narrow path.

This tactic has worked more often than not, beginning more than 60 years ago. Hitler and his Third Reich were defeated, but there was a new scare in the air. And the color was red. It’s never white.

Communists were infiltrating America in the late 1940s and 1950s. McCarthyism was the new hysteria. (Joe McCarthy was a Democrat. But he was a Democrat in name only. He would run the Republican Party today, if Rush to Judgment would let him.)

Dick Nixon rose to power by painting his female opponent for Congress as “the Pink Lady.”

The Cold War was the hot topic for almost 50 years —– and it had plenty of boogey men who were threatening to get us while we were sleeping.

But then the GOP did something out of the ordinary —– it took credit for ending the Cold War.

They just happened to be in power when the Iron Curtain crumbled. But what were they thinking? There wasn’t a boogey man around to scare America anymore. Can’t have that.

So it was up to Daddy Bush to invent one. How about that douchebag in Iraq, Saddam? Sounds good. So Bush the First gave America a made-for-TV war. But George Herbert Walker Bush didn’t finish the job. Couldn’t blame him, we still needed the boogey man who could rise again.

As it turned out, peace and prosperity reigned in the 1990s under Bubba Clinton. But he didn’t go along with the boogey man theory so the GOP tried to impeach him for his moral terpitude issues. But that’s no boogey man, guys. With Clinton, it was more like get down and boogey, man.

So America was content with itself. The economy was good and a new technological era was born. No more boogey man to worry about.

Then came 9-11 and an enemy — a boogey man no one had to make up. Look under your beds, America, there is a monster and its name is bin Laden.

But then W. and his crew had some unfinished bidness to take care of first. That being finishing Daddy’s job of taking out Saddam. One boogey man at a time. Don’t confuse the people, they’re easily scared with the one bad guy threat.

The terrorist kingpin —- like some apparition — is still on the loose. Since we can’t —- or don’t want to — capture the current boogey man, the GOP has decided to invent some homegrown terrorists —- like the ones the GOP and Fox and Rush created for candidate Obama, now the socialist president with the mad desire to pull the plug on granny. Can there be a worse boogey man than that?

The terrorists haven’t won —- but they’ve got to be gloating over the fact that Americans are turning on Americans. And over religious freedom.

No need to fly hijackedjets into buildings in our major cities anymore. America has created its own weapons of mass hysteria in demagogues like Beck, Palin and Limbaugh.

And their dog whistle terminology is tainted with violent references —- against fellow Americans who don’t feel the urgency to “Take our country back.”

Lunatic Minnesota Congresswoman Michele “They’re coming to take me away, ha! ha!” Bachmann telling her constituents to become “armed and dangerous.”

The Baked Alaskan’s repetitive Tweet word: “Reload.”

Turning up the white heat.

How long before some cretin takes these dangerous demagogues for their word?

Stab the cabbie

Earlier this week, a fat young white male stabbed a New York City cab driver because he’s a Muslim.

The cowards at Fox, Limbaugh, Palin and Newt are mum. Who, us? We didn’t stab the cabbie. We didn’t put that knife in his fat little hands.

Yes you did. You’re not the only ones who can play the guilt by association card.

Not surprisingly, Fox didn’t even report this story. Fox Fabricated News: “We incite. You react.”

This young guy is exactly the kind of mind you monkey-feces-for-brains are creating, thanks to your twisted anti-American hate-filled flatulence.

Reload? No, just loads.

Be careful not to shoot yourselves in the foot.

Aim higher.
