Un-American activities

There's a method to their madness.
The Republican Party isn't taking anything for granted.
Sure, all the pundits are predicting doom for the Democrats.
      Political tsunami and all that.
And all the polls are saying the GOP will likely take back control of the House and maybe the Senate.
But the RepubliTea Party isn't taking any chances.
      They're releasing more hounds.
It's not enough that the campaign funding is coming from foreign countries.
The money is there. Money is never the problem with the Republican Party.
That something extra: telling people not to vote.
      To stay home.
Weather's going to be bad anyway.
It's a given that the more people who stay home, the better chance the GOP has of winning.
The target here is minorities. The GOP can't win the Latino vote, so they have to discourage them from voting.
There are political ads in Spanish and English specifically telling Latinos to stay home election day because President Obama didn't do what he promised about illegal immigration.
Meanwhile in cities like Chicago, the GOP is hiring goons to perform "surveillance" in places where minorities cast their votes.
      Intimidation at the polls.
      How un-American.
Republicans have proven they can strike fear in Americans, now they think that some American people are just plain stupid.
They know for certain that minorities are likely to vote for the Democrats, so everything is on the table.
In fact, that could be the reason why the GOP/Tea Party ads are so nasty: just another way of making people think that all this mudslinging is turning them off from going to the polls.
All of this of course does not affect the GOP base ---- they're going to vote no matter what.
But to try and discourage people not to vote.
      How un-American.
Speaking of un-American activities, Alaska Tea Bagger candidate for Senate, Crazy Joe Miller, has an idea how to secure our borders:
Build our version of the Berlin Wall.
      Say it ain't so, Joe.
      It's so.
To quote Crazy Joe, "If East Germany can do it, we can do it."
It's no use trying to remind tea baggers of history because they're rewriting it as they go along.
But history has shown us that East Germany tried to keep people from escaping to the West ---- you know, like the Doors said, "the West is the best."
Escaping to the West meant freedom.
"If East Germany can do it, we can do it."
This comes on the heels of Crazy Joe ordering his "security" guard to handcuff a reporter who was a little over-zealous trying to get the candidate to answer a question.
It has since been reported that the security guard in question has ties to a militia group.
      Crazy Joe Miller of Alaska.
He can see fascism from his house.

"Intimidation at the polls. How un-American."
Mr. Bruno, This comment of yours is A BRILLIANT ONE.
Let me tell you John, in southern California, a city named Rancho Cucamonga, a city council candidate, Mr. Rex Gutierrez, the only Hispanic candidate in this city with the capability and education to become minority leader at the level of the best there are in California who is being prosecuted for favoring a reach developer for the benefit of lots of low income people in the area.
Mr. Bruno, I understand East Germans escaping to the West, and I understand Southern Californians trying to escape to Northern California, just like East Germans to be with the best.
