The Gardoon State

“Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey. There’s a major blizzard ready to blanket your state and put everything at a stand-still. What are you going to do now?”

“I’m going to Disney World!”

Yes, Joisey Gov. Chris “Dumbo” Christie was soaking up the sun and fun with the family while on vacation down in Florida at Disney World when his state was crippled by that blizzard around the Christmas holidays.

Now he’s taking a lot of heat for not responding to the weather-related crisis.

He’s flatly denying that his administration is run like a Mickey Mouse operation.

OK, so the only snow he saw when he and the wife and kiddles were on vacation had seven dwarfs with her.

So naturally Dumbo blamed the media for trying to make a big deal out of what he thought wasn’t a problemo.

Needless to say he came off goofy.

When you diss upon a rising political star, makes no difference to the media who you are.

Of course everytime a Republican is caught not acting like a leader in the time of any crisis, the liberal media gets blamed.

It’s fastly becoming a tale as old as time.

Christie certainly was no Prince Charming at that press conference. In fact, he was more like the lying king.

Dumbo tried to convince the skeptical media that he was in touch by phone and e-mail with the state Senate’s leader. That’s right, a Democrat. Let the blame game begin.

The Dem said he heard squat from the rotund gov’nor. It was hard not to believe him when Dumbo lied so much his nose kept continuing to grow.

Not impressive at all, trying to defend his reason (he didn’t want to disappoint his family) for not coming back to deal with the situation.

After all, in Joisey, there’s really only one The Situation.

Speaking of “The Jersey Shore,” the most famous of the boozin’ buddies, Snooki, celebrated her book being released Tuesday. Of course, they celebrate when it’s laundry day.

The title of the tome is “The Shore Thing.” Get it? Clever. But here are some other titles that might have been fun:

1. “Gorilla Juiceheads in Her Midst”

2. “Babes in BoyToyLand”

3. “The Fortune Snooki”

4.  “The Shawskank’s Redemption”

5.  “Soused Park”
