Money over moxy

A Republican rumble was expected in Tuesday’s Michigan Primary.
Of course Republican and rumble are a contradiction in terms ever since Saint Ronald Reagan put forth his 11th Commandment, Thou Shalt Not Say Anything Bad About Another Republican.
Not this year. This is one time even Rick Sanctimonious will lose his religion.
Santorum eventually lost both the Michigan and Arizona primaries Tuesday to Mitt Romney.
Money versus moxy. Money always wins. At least in politics.
  Santorum’s Jets couldn’t rumble with Romney’s Sharks.
Since it’s a “West Side Story” theme of sorts, poor Rick could use a song. So from that movie, new words to sing the song “Officer Krupke” to:

“Dear kindly Rick Santorum please try and understand
       We’re looking for a leader, not a holier-than-thou man.
       Our mothers are on welfare
       Our fathers mess around.
Holy Moses! We’re not even brown!

“Gee kindly Rick Santorum, we’re not snobs.
We wanna go to college and get good jobs.
       Get us off food stamps
       We’re not blah.
We follow the rule of law.

“The rule of law, rule of law
We follow the rule of law.
Well, on Sundays we follow the law.

       “Dear kindly Rick Santorum
       we love your sweater-vests.
       How you remind us daily
God puts us to the test.
       We home-school our children
ban the wife from the pill.
Golly, acne! Who needs free will.

“Gee, kindly Rick Santorum, we just heard
your ultimate goal is to thin out the herd.
Obama’s at bat and Satan’s on deck
WTF! —- uh, what the heck!

       “The economy is sick
        just like Mitt you’re slick
        where’s your cures?
Gee, Rick Santorum —- ** yours!”
