Rancho Cucamonga Quakes catcher Chris O’Brien has been placed on the disabled list with a fractured middle finger.

O’Brien, 23, was hitting .169 in 37 games.

To fill his spot on the roster the Quakes are getting catcher Webster Rivas from extended spring. Rivas was with the Quakes early in the season, playing three games, all in April.
