An interesting email came in on Saturday in regards to the Whittier Daily News' lack of coverage of Sonora High School, which to those who aren't aware, is in the city of La Habra.

Here's the email:

Why do You guys only cover La Habra High School Baseball and Not Sonora High Baseball ? Do You Guys have something against Sonora !! Sonora is The best Baseball Team in the Area and You guys do not even cover them. Being a Whitter resident for 38 years And seeing the bias at Your site really makes Me mad. Come Guys get with it and cover all the teams the same.

Thanks for Your time.

R.G.

R.G. brings up an interesting point and common complaint we've received several times throughout the season. So let me clarify. Although we do cover La Habra High School and Whittier Christian, Sonora is slightly outside of our circulation area.

Is it unaffair? Yes, because there are several area kids that attend Sonora who deserve the coverage. The good news is that Sonora fans can talk about their teams here on this blog or on Roger Murray's blog. That's the great thing about the net, information is no longer just bound to print. Good Luck Raiders.
