Some neighbors are concerned about plans to increase bus service to Cal State Long Beach, the Daily 49er reports. Residents on the Eastside and in Belmont Shore have expressed concerns about an increase in bus stops and new routes drawing students to their areas.
According to the article:
A spokeswoman for Long Beach Transit says it is trying to meet an increase in demand for bus service.Long Beach Transit, which provides bus service for the city of Long Beach and surrounding areas, has proposed changes to several of its routes, including two Passport routes that would see new service to and from the campus. The plan would also eliminate some stops on current routes.
