The Photo of the Day today comes from Sarah Reingewirtz at a Vietnam Veteran's Day ceremony in La Puente. The caption reads: Tom Garcia, 62, of La Puente, shows his 1938 Studebaker Sheriff Car during the Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day ceremony and car show at California High School's football field. Jose Ramos, who has long wanted a National Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day, headed a committee that decided to hold the local event.

Wow! It is great to see that the City of La Puente has recognized March 30th as the Welcome Home Vietnam Veteran's Day Celebration. They are awesome. What a fabulous car. How can I get ahold of Tom Garcia?
