A big game, hard fought by the girls at Muir High School, at the Southern California Championship. Staff photographer Keith Birmingham shot 50 photos from this game which can be found at this photo gallery or take a look at this slideshow. Muir lost the game 40-39. The caption reads: Muir's Eliza Pierre ,4, drives to the basket in the first half during a State basketball Southern California Championship basketball game between Magnolia and Muir March 8. 2008 at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles. Magnolia beat Muir 40-39.
