5-1-08 Photo of the Day

We had been following this story for a couple days and it came to a head on Thursday as people who put down a deposit found the house was not available. Staff photographer Raul Roa shot the photo. 5-1-08-1 SCAM1.JPGThe caption reads: Some of the people who were scammed out of $2,400 as deposit to rent the Covina house in background wait for information from L.A. County Human Services Department. The homeowner reportedly rented the house at 5441 Calera Ave. to as many as 50 families, who were supposed to start moving in from today up to June 15, 2008. According to officials, the owner, who placed the rental ad on Craigslist, cannot be located.

Hello there! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine Optimization? I'm trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I'm not seeing very good gains. If you know of any please share. Thanks!

Hmm is anyone else experiencing problems with the images on this blog loading? I'm trying to find out if its a problem on my end or if it's the blog. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

One other thing I would like to mention is that rather than trying to fit all your online degree tutorials on times that you end work (because most people are fatigued when they return), try to find most of your lessons on the weekends and only a couple courses for weekdays, even if it means a little time off your saturday and sunday. This is beneficial because on the saturdays and sundays, you will be far more rested and concentrated with school work. Thanks for the different points I have realized from your weblog.

Photography and technology have merged, and there's no better example than our newspapers and our photographers. The photo staff is entirely digital, shooting award-winning still photographs and also quickly adopting video. With the changes in photo and technology, perceptions about the business of photography are changing. Let's use this forum to talk about the photography in our papers.
