Two excellent photos come to the Photo of the Day. The first, by staff photographer Leo Jarzomb, catches a dive at the plate. The second comes from staff photographer Keith Birmingham who shot a bunch of photos from the release of a peregrine falcon. The caption reads: Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA's Steven R.
