Chino Police advise school lockdown

| | Comments (0)

Chino Police recommended Magnolia Junior High School go in to lockdown at 10:30 a.m. Friday while they were searching the surrounding neighborhood for two residential burglary suspects. The lockdown lasted about 55 minutes, said school district spokeswoman Julie Gobin.

There was no police activity on campus, she said. All gates were locked and movement was restricted for anyone trying to enter or exit the campus during the event, officials said.

Magnolia experienced a lockdown last week as police were searching for a man who was reported to be armed and walking in the surrounding neighborhood.
