| | Comments (0)

The city hosted its annual Adopt a Family holiday program on Thursday night with about 73 families in need receiving donated money and presents from their wish lists.

Local businesses and families provided donations toward the event.

"The goal of the program is to provide a happy Christmas for families," said Christine Martinez, recreation supervisor at the McCoy Equestrian Center. "It takes a big burden off of families struggling this year."
