Chino Police get grant for operations

The Chino City Council on Tuesday approved the use of $131,817 in County grant money toward public safety.

The money will be directed toward costs relating to salaries and expense for non-sworn police employees dedicated to supporting police operations. The grant will also be used toward upgrading equipment, purchasing new technology for sworn personnel, and upgrading police vehicles.
