Toy-Drive at Wal-Mart to support troops

To kick-off "Operation Christmas for Our Troops & Their Families V" and help ensure California's troops and their families have a happy holiday season, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. today

Wal-Mart in Chino, 3943 Grand Avenue, is among 15 stores in Southern California that will serve as a drop-off location for people to donate toys, DVDs and other gift items to local, California-based active-duty and reserve military and their families.

"Wal-Mart is proud to support Yellow Ribbon America and the 'Operation Christmas for Our Troops & Their Families' toy and Gift Card drive," said Henry Jordan, Regional Vice President for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. "We take pride in supporting our local communities and benefiting our customers and their families, and wish all of our military men and women and their families a safe and healthy Christmas season."

Members of the Yellow Ribbon America organization will be outside of the 15 Wal-Mart stores listed below through Sunday, Dec. 21, collecting new, unwrapped toys, new or used DVDs, diapers, calling cards and other donations to support local California active-duty and reserve military and their families.

Over 247,000 donations over the last four years have been collected statewide in support of the Operation Christmas for Our Troops & Their Families Toy and Gift Card drive.
