Cows Plop for Music!

Ayala High School Band and Color Guard will host their 2nd Annual "Cow Chip Bingo" event on the back band field at Ayala High School on Saturday, May 30, 2009 from noon to 4 p.m.

Three cows will be released onto a pre-marked 50 x 60 yard field, containing 3000 squares. Each square yard represents a "land deed parcel." The first three plops on a "land deed parcel" will be measured and recorded, and prize winnings totaling $1500 will be awarded to the owners' respectively,

Cost of each parcel will be a $5 donation, and may be purchased through Ayala's band booster parents. Parcels will be sold at this event right up to the last plop. Winners must be 21 years of age or older to accept prize money. Winners do not need to be present to win. Proceeds will benefit the instrumental music programs for the Ayala Band and Color Guard.

The event is co-sponsored by KYR Music, Chick-fil-A (Chino Hills) and Hottinger's Family Meat's (Chino). The Chick-fil-A cows will be cheering their bovine friends on at 1:00pm. During this event, there will also be Chili Cook-off Competition with free samples, big raffle drawings, lots of food and fun for everyone. Hottinger's Family Meat's will be sampling their new Family Sausage line during the event. We will have free line dancing lessons, and face painting for the kids. Bands students will participate in a special event featuring the Band Director, Mark Stone.

Cow Chip Bingo will be held rain or shine. For more information or official rules, visit the Ayala Bands Cow Chip Bingo website at http://cowbingo.ayalabac.org
