"National Night Out" kick-off set for Chino Hills

| | Comments (0)

The city is asking neighborhoods to get involved and plan an activity in support of National Night Out (NNO) on Aug. 4. A kick-off meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, at the James S. Thalman Chino Hills Library, 14020 City Center Drive.

NNO coordinator, Bonnie Michaels, will be available to help with ideas and activities to plan resident neighborhood events.

National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 4, across the nation when neighbors gather in support of crime and drug prevention. To get involved, turn on your porch light from 7 to 10 p.m. Get neighbors together and spend the evening outdoors. Plan an ice cream social or a barbecue and have activities for the children. Deputies and Councilmember will visit registered neighborhood events throughout the evening on National Night Out on Aug. 4.
