School district announcements
Chino Valley Unified School District recently made the following announcements:
- Chino High School students and twin sisters Joanna and Julie Sanchez have been congratulated by the school district for passing all five Advanced Placement tests in May. It is rare to take five AP tests in one year, much less pass them all, interim Superintendent Wayne Joseph said. The achievement will allow the sisters to bypass five college courses once they graduate in June, Joseph said.
- The school district on Oct. 8 will celebrate the dedication of Cal Aero Preserve Academy and on Dec. 2 at Anna Borba Elementary School. Both schools are in Chino.
The Chino Valley Unified School District recently received some good news from the state Department of Education for its performance on the California High School Exit Exam.
