Habitat Homes dedication set for Chino on Saturday

Two Habitat for Humanity houses will be dedicated Saturday morning at 10th Street in Chino.

The two houses are at 13071 and 13079 10th St. The ceremony will be at 10 a.m.

Light refreshments and a tour of the homes will be available following the ceremony. 

The key sponsors of the homes are Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, city of Chino and the Southwest Carpenters Training Fund.

Habitat for Humanity will also hold a Dime a Day Campaign fund-raiser at Aegis Senior Living of Chino Hills on Nov. 21, from 1 to 4 p.m. 

The event will feature food, entertainment, raffle prizes, games, and valet parking. People are encouraged to bring their dimes to support the construction of a Habitat for Humanity homes in the Los Serranos area of Chino Hills.
