hino Hills was ranked as the 13th safest city in the nation by the FBI in its annual crime report. Chino was ranked No. 93 in a list of about 400 cities. The annual crime report assesses rates of murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and motor-vehicle theft.
"We're ranked 13 for a second year in a row, and that's pretty impressive to know," Chino Hills Mayor Peter Rogers said. "We're very fortunate to live in a city that's very safe and to not take that for granted and remain vigilant. We thank our officers that are helping us to keep our city safe."
